The minimum starts at 36 units per style and color, with sizes split within the style. 100 to 300 is what we recommend for the best efficiency and cost, and if you need more we produce thousands of units per style. On tees the minimum depends on the technique: DTF allows as few as 36 per style and color, while screen print and embroidery start around 100 per style, split into 50 per color. We don't publish prices because every garment is quoted to spec: the exact price can only be set after we make the sample and measure the real costs. You get a free estimate in minutes through our quoting tool. It's two prices: development covers the tech pack and the sample ready for approval. Production leaves each garment sell-ready (fabric and everything needed). Branded trims (labels, hangtags, custom packaging) are quoted separately since they carry different minimums, and we can take care of them for you if you need it.

It depends on the project: development usually runs about 2 to 8 weeks and production about 30 to 45 business days. What moves the schedule most is sourcing the fabric and trims: where they are, whether they're available right away or have to be made. We adjust the whole plan to hit the date you need, and we've met demanding deadlines when a project called for it, such as samples in under a week and 5,000 garments in under 28 days.

Yes. With the product already developed, reordering or restocking is straightforward: we only depend on fabric and trim availability to schedule the run and set delivery dates. Pricing depends on the quantities and the cost of raw materials at the time.

No. You don't need to arrive with tech packs: that's exactly Phase 1, product development. From your idea or a reference we define fabric and trims, draft the patterns, make the physical sample and build the tech pack. All we ask is clarity on what you want to achieve. See product development.

Because development is a real service: sourcing trims, drafting and grading patterns, sewing the physical sample and refining it in fitting sessions. That sample becomes the standard your whole production is measured against: it's what guarantees that what we make is what you approved. That's why it's billed separately from production.

Development includes up to two minor adjustments at no cost: corrections that don't require remaking the pattern, buying new materials or sewing another garment. Structural changes, or changes after the approvals you have already given, are quoted separately and never executed without your approval, so your budget stays protected. The one no-cost exception: if GAT makes an error against what you approved, we fix it on us.

Our specialty is upper-body, easy-fitting garments: tees, polos, shirts, blouses, hoodies and crop tops. To avoid compromising quality or delivery, there are categories we don't make: denim/jeans, swimwear, knitwear, leather, structured tailoring and blazers, underwear and lingerie, shapewear and compression, babywear (0 to 2), and footwear, bags and accessories. If your piece falls there, we'll tell you straight and point you to a specialist.

We handle fabric and trim sourcing as part of the service, buying from the mills we work with and our fabric suppliers exactly what your project needs. If you'd rather supply your own fabric or brand trims, we can coordinate that too, and it can speed up the timeline. It's defined during development.

We work in two phases. First we make samples, then we manufacture: nothing goes into production without an approved sample. In product development we source fabrics, draft the patterns and tech packs, sew the physical sample, and you approve it. The whole process is approved in writing and remotely: WhatsApp and email carry equal validity. Fabrics are approved by photo (or a physical fabric or trim swatches if you need them, at an additional cost), print and embroidery tests with images, and the final sample with a standardized visual record plus a measurement report against the approved chart. No project moves to production without your written approval of the sample.

We're in Cali, Colombia, and we love hosting visits: you're welcome to come to our offices to meet us and see real product. We coordinate the visit with you in advance. And every project starts with a physical sample you approve before production, wherever you are.

Development and samples are paid up front. Production runs 50/50: a 50% deposit to start and the remaining 50% before dispatch. Payments are made by bank transfer or credit card, and everything is defined in the quote before we start. For large or recurring orders we can agree on tailored payment terms. Yes, we export actively to the US, Central America and the Caribbean. All quoted prices are ex-works at our facilities in Colombia (EXW), and from there we coordinate the international shipment. Freight, duties and import taxes depend on the destination, order size and garment, and are usually covered by you on receipt. We give you the estimate before we start. Quality is a process. Every project starts with a physical sample you approve, then production is audited at four points: 100% of incoming fabric, the cut, the full make from start to finish, and a final check before dispatch. Every piece is measured against the sample you signed off. It's the same standard we've held for recognized brands for over 20 years.

We guarantee the garment meets the approved measurement chart, not the fit on one specific body. You have 45 days from delivery to file a claim by emailing info@gat.com.co with invoice, style, color, size, quantity, reason and photos. Our quality team inspects the garments and responds within 15 business days, and when the claim is upheld we cover the return shipping and resolve it with a remake, a refund or a credit note. Not every claim is upheld: it does not cover misuse of the garment, requirements we warned could affect quality that you approved anyway, garments that do match the sample you signed off, or claims filed after the 45 days.

It depends on the stage. If you cancel before we buy materials, you choose between crediting 100% of what you paid toward a future production run or getting an 80% cash refund (the remaining 20% covers administrative costs already incurred). If we have already bought materials or started development, the incurred costs are settled and the remainder is refunded or credited. The request is sent in writing to info@gat.com.co within 15 business days of the event that prompts it, with invoice, styles, reason and evidence. We respond within 15 business days and, when it applies, the refund is issued within 30 business days by the same payment method.

Yes. Our terms include standard confidentiality and non-disclosure (NDA/NCNDA): your designs, photos, specs and tech packs aren't disclosed. If you have your own agreement, our legal team reviews it and we sign it.

Once you pay for the full service, we transfer ownership of the editable digital patterns developed for your project. That doesn't include GAT's internal processes, methodologies, base patterns or proprietary software.
