How does 3D work in the design process?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

In the design process, we use 3D models to define and refine the design of a garment before creating physical samples. If you provide us with ideas, we will create a first 3D model to define the design. Once the design is approved, we will fit the model to the sizes you need and validate the patterns and fit. During this stage, we will share images and videos of the 3D model with you and allow for changes and testing of different colors and fabrics. The goal of using 3D is to minimize the use of physical samples by fully defining the design in a virtual environment. Once the 3D model is approved, we will proceed to create a physical sample.

Do you share the 3D models with me?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

We can provide you with images and videos of the 3D models, but if you would like the actual 3D file, we can sell it to you for a fee. Prices for the 3D file may range from USD $100-200, depending on the complexity of the design.

What is the lead time for the entire process and for each process?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

The lead time for the entire process will depend on your needs and budgets, but here is an estimate:

For the design stage, we can complete it within 5 to 20 days.

For sample development:
1. Raw Materials Sourcing (just for samples): 3 - 14 days.
2. Patterns Design: 1-2 days.
3. Digital Sampling and Validation: 1-3 days.
4. Physical Samples Development: 1-3 days.
5. Final Costing Estimates and Manufacturing Guidelines: 1-2 days.

Total development time: 3 to 30 days

For manufacturing:
1. Production Sourcing: 7-30 days.
2. Cutting: 1-5 days.
3. Sewing: 5-30 days.
4. Quality Assurance: 2-3 days.
5. Packaging and shipping: 2-3 days

Total manufacturing time: 14 to 45 days.

Please note that the most delayed stage is often raw materials sourcing. If you work with our fabrics, this time could be reduced to a couple of days.

Shipping is not included in these estimates because it will depend on the country and city. Typically, we dispatch orders by plane, which can take 3 to 10 days to reach the customer. For larger orders, we may use sea shipping, which can take a couple of weeks.

When does the lead time for sample and production start?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

For samples, the lead time starts when all the details of your needs are clear, which includes approved tech packs, drawings, and other technical specifications. For production, the lead time begins after the pre-production samples are approved and any required down payments are made.

What is the lead time for raw material sourcing?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

The lead time for sourcing raw materials depends on the type of fabric. We have local partners that can provide us with materials within 5 to 10 days, but the availability of the fabric can affect the lead time. Eco-friendly fabrics may have a sourcing time of 15 to 45 days, depending on availability. You also have the option to purchase fabrics and send them to us.

Can we do rush orders?
Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

Yes, we can accommodate rush orders, but this may only be possible with certain fabrics. The sourcing process is usually the most time-consuming part of the production process, so if the materials are already sourced, we can work faster to manufacture the product while maintaining high quality standards.

Arrow in US clothing manufacturing website

Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) are a set of standardized terms and definitions used in international trade to clearly define the rights and obligations of the buyer and seller in the sale of goods. There are a total of 11 Incoterms, which are divided into two categories:

Incoterms for any mode of transport (EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP, DDP)
Incoterms for sea and inland waterway transport (FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF)

Each Incoterm specifies the responsibilities and obligations of the buyer and seller with respect to the delivery of the goods, including who is responsible for paying for transportation and insurance, who is responsible for loading and unloading the goods, and when ownership of the goods is transferred from the seller to the buyer.

Incoterms are commonly used in international trade contracts to ensure that both parties understand their obligations and to minimize misunderstandings and disputes. It is important to carefully review and understand the terms of an Incoterm before agreeing to it in a contract.
